Your photo session can take place at your home or any outdoor location in Austin. I use all natural lighting, even indoors, and very little posing. My sessions are very unstructured and casual. I will often just let your child play or engage them in a conversation, capturing their expressions along the way. I prefer to encourage them to smile or laugh naturally, rather than instructing them to smile or say "cheese". The session will be most successful if everyone present is relaxed and unhurried. Usually the kids have a great time and look forward to the next photo session!

Simple and comfortable clothing is the best choice for black and white and for my style of photography. Textures and denim also look nice in black and white. Bare feet are always fun. I am happy to consult with you on clothing choices before your session.

Your online proofs will be presented to you about two weeks after your session. The link will be emailed to you and can be shared with friends and family. The online gallery will stay up for five days in order for you to choose your prints. An order of at least $500 will earn a complimentary album of twenty 5x7 prints of your choice. You will receive your final prints about three weeks after placing your order.
